Band 7/8a - Psychologist - Adult Weight Management - Fully Remote

Pulse are currently recruiting to a new fully remote locum vacancy for a Psychologist to work in an Adult Weight Management team. The successful candidate will provide psychological services to adults with obesity in agreement with the Adult Weight Management Programme Lead. This includes work with individuals, groups, families, significant others, and consultation work advising staff of other disciplines on the psychological aspects of casework and patient management plans. It involves conducting psychological assessments and the delivery of appropriate therapeutic interventions for the full range of referred difficulties accepted by the service. The post is available at band 7/8a for part time and full-time hours. The contract is for 3 months with views to extend.

To apply for this post Psychologists must have:

Doctorate in Clinical Psychology

HCPC registration

Experience working with children and young people (experienced working with looked after children would be ideal but not essential)

Duties within this post will include:

Telephone consultations and face to face work

Managing own caseload
