Expert Business Analyst (International Solutions Management) - Remote - Canada

Overview

The position is responsible for creating the business and/or functional requirements necessary for technology solutions that meet customer needs, expected delivery dates, and quality standards. Provide support to International Regional Solution Management teams and clients via the telephone and/or Internet (e.g., instant message, email). Provide support to assess service issues and resolve technical problems through independent judgment and advanced problem-solving skills. Provide centralized management of Azure DevOps solution for international backlog.

 

 This is a Remote role in Canada

 

Responsibilities:

Work under the direction of the Manager to provide application research and functional design for solutions across assigned business areas

Possesses functional knowledge of assigned application

Communicates effectively with all parties related to assigned process area

Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts, internal and external, to understand their problems and use cases to create new business requirements and enhancement requests

Work independently and with mentors/peers to gather and translate business requirements into product-specific designs and specifications while expanding application expertise and knowledge of business processes

Deliver business process workflow and related design documentation for new development projects and/or enhancement and modification requests to be used by the development teams

Provides formal training to team members and documentation as needed

Demonstrate new functionality to business users seeking inputs on future direction.

Work with the support team to help diagnose and resolve client questions or problems that need development assistance

Participate in user focus groups and requirements workshops, vendor training and demonstrations

 

Qualifications:

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and/or other relevant combination of training and experience

 

Experience:

5-7 years of work experience

3-7 years of healthcare clinical experience

Experience in requirements gathering and analysis

Experience in business analysis documentation

Knowledge of Sunrise Clinical Manager is required

Experience with FHIR integration

Experience working with Agile Principles is an asset

Experience with TFS/Azure DevOps is an asset

 

Travel Requirements:

May require travel for business needs

 

Working Arrangements:

Work is performed from remote location within Canada
