Consultant - Old Age Psychiatry - CMHT - Durham

This role is a full-time position in the NHS in a Durham CMHT service; it offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust is seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry to work from Monday to Friday. The post holder will provide medical input to patients on the organic and functional pathway. Experience in older Person's mental Health, including the assessment and treatment of dementia and functional illnesses. The post holder should also have Approved Clinician status, or at least be able to achieve this within a short period of starting this post.

Position: Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry

Hours: This position is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week

Setting: CMHT

Location: Durham

Dates: This position is available on an initial 3-month basis.

You must have a full GMC licence to practice

Relevant previous experience working in this type of position

Section 12 approval is essential

Approved clinician status is desired but not essential
