Job Description:

Due to the current health crisis related to COVID-19 and the escalating visa/travel restrictions in place, we're currently unable to extend offers to anyone who cannot work from India due to lockdown visa/travel restrictions, or other restrictive measures until further notice. Consequently, we will be prioritizing candidates who can start in this location by set date as expected. Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.

Coding experience with a general purpose programming language (e.g. Java, C/C++, Python).

Experience in managing strategic partnerships or client relationships.

Preferred qualifications:

Android application or platform development experience.

Experience with TV and video technologies, such as TV/Set-top box software stacks, media services and content protection.

Software development experience in the mobile/CE/embedded space including knowledge of audio, video, graphics and security technologies.

Experience working with Android, embedded systems, Linux kernel, device driver APIs, chipsets.

Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and analytical skills, combined with a strong sense of ownership, and a proactive can-do attitude.

Excellent written and verbal communication, project management and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on translating business requirements into technology solutions.

The Android TV Partner Engineering team helps partners develop products that are used everyday by users around the world. Whether debugging low level kernel issues or Android applications, you will swiftly problem-solve technical issues, showing partners how to properly build and launch an Android TV device. We work with teams throughout Google, and maintain relationships with our long-term partners who are making Android TV into an excellent platform.

As a Technical Solutions Consultant in our Android TV Partner Engineering team, you will be the engagement manager taking responsibility for the success of our Android TV partnerships. You'll optimize implementations to increase business, drive new business opportunities, and manage the overall technical aspects to build strong, successful, long-term partnerships. Your focus will be to drive the technical partner engagement for our projects across the Android TV ecosystem.

Perform implementation reviews, advocate new product features, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.

Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams including Product Management and Engineering.

Guarantee the technical aspects of a partner’s integration (both new and ongoing) by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance.

Identify, drive, and optimize the business flow from new business opportunities by leveraging Google technologies.

Drive both technical execution and strategic partner relationships. Perform implementation reviews, advocate new product features, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
