Clinical/Counselling Psychologist - CAMHS - Cumbria

Pulse is currently seeking a band 8a/8b Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with excellent interpersonal skills, to join our fantastic client’s CAMHS team based in Carnforth. This vacancy is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours for a 3-month period with a view to extending.

The successful candidate will work with young people who present with a complexity of need including developmental trauma, neuro-developmental conditions and special educational needs. As part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team the ideal candidate will be supporting educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments and, based on clinical assessment and formulation, offer individualised interventions and engagement to our young people.

To be considered for this role, you must:

Hold a doctorate in either Clinical or Counselling Psychology

Be HCPC registered

Have a proven track record in a CAMHS environment

Be analytical and show good attention to detail
